Port Feijenoord
The district Feyenoord will get a considerable facelift the next ten years. In addition to 1700 new homes, the infrastructure will significantly be improved. For instance they’ve planned a new bridge, which enables a tram connection from Feyenoord to the center of the city.
The district, which originally was a workers area will be given a new impuls. While most elements are preserved, significant investment will be done to improve quality of life. Many more people will be wanting to live in this part of town, just outside the center, on the other side of the river.
The work will take place under the flag of Refurbishment Plan Port Feyenoord and I am looking forward to the results!
The first project is d’Oranjeboom.
