I think this is one of the coolest benches in Rotterdam. Not because it’s pretty, but because it is located on a really cool spot. If you take a seat at it, your back is facing the city center, so in a way, you’ve turned away from the crowded and busy city life. In stead, your facing one of Rotterdam’s beautiful bridges, the Willemsbrug. (http://wp.me/punIp-m) The strange thing is, I’ve never seen anyone using it though…

Friendly faces

Sitting at that bench, you’ll get noticed and greeted by dozens of people who are happy that they don’t have to cycle up anymore, but that they can have gravity work for them. Nod to them and give them a smile, and you will most certainly be rewarded.  So if you are in need of a friendly face and want to have the feeling that everyone likes you and knows you go check out the bench halfway down the bridge sometime. Who knows, you’ll meet someone there who had the same idea?
